Frequently Asked Questions

How does Home E-Visit Virtual Care work?
Connect directly from your home to a health care provider with a video visit. We will provide you a link on your mobile phone as well as a link on your email to connect.

Is Home e-visit a paid service?
No! The Home E-Visit feature is covered by OHIP just like any other visit at your local walk-in clinic. You are able to see a doctor through your personal device at the comfort of your home. The doctor will do an examination and is able to write a prescription for any necessary medication.

What can I do to protect myself against COVID-19?
Protection measures for everyone

You can protect yourself and help prevent spreading the virus to others if you:

Do
• Wash your hands regularly for 20 seconds, with soap and water or alcohol-based hand rub
• Cover your nose and mouth with a disposable tissue or flexed elbow when you cough or sneeze
• Avoid close contact (1 meter or 3 feet) with people who are unwell
• Stay home and self-isolate from others in the household if you feel unwell

Don't
• Touch your eyes, nose, or mouth if your hands are not clean
What is the "Specialists Suite"?
We have a team of medical specialists as well as customized specialist care programs to serve you. You can request a referral from any of our No Wait Walk-in locations after your No Wait visit or any of our telemedicine locations after your telemedicine visit.

Is this a paid service?

No! The Specialists Suite feature is covered by OHIP just like any other visit at your local walk-in clinic. You are able to set up an appointment with a specialist and receive a program customized just for you and your needs.
